Waterproof (Tex) Wash-in (washing machine) - Rapide

Keeps your clothing and textiles waterproof


Rapide's Tex Waterproof Wash-in is an impregnation agent that can make all your high-tech (sports) clothing dirt- and water-repellent again using the wash-in method. It restores the specific properties of this breathable waterproof clothing even when you wash it in the machine! Very effective for making ski clothing, fleece, Gore-Tex, soft- and hardshells water-repellent. Always consult the washing and drying instructions!

Machine wash instructions:

First wash the garment with Rapide’s Techwash at 30° or 40°. Shake the bottle well before use and ensure the garment is well rinsed. Remove soap residues from the detergent compartment and fill the main wash compartment with 100 ml Tex-waterproof (2 caps) for 1 garment. The garment may be briefly spun at a low speed or tumble dried at a low temperature. This activates the water-repellent effect (consult textile label). Then hang to dry.



Hand wash instructions:

Shake the bottle well. Put 100 ml in a basin for just 1 garment and dip it regularly. After half an hour, rinse the garment thoroughly with cold water until the water is clear. For drying, see 'Machine wash'. The surfactants in this preparation meet the criteria for biodegradability.

Tip:

• Confirm one sleeve or leg to the other to prevent turning inside out during treatment, close zippers and Velcro.
