It is important to regularly check your horse’s hooves and frog and have them trimmed by the farrier in time. When the horse’s frogs are softer and smell bad, it is important to first remove the old material from the sole and frog and then treat with Hoof & Sole Care to restore the frog to a nice dry and strong condition.



It is also important to regularly clean out the hooves, ensure your horse can stand on a clean and dry surface, and provide sufficient exercise. The action of the hoof mechanism with every step your horse takes stimulates blood circulation in the hoof and keeps the tissues healthier.

Shake well before each use, place the closed packaging in warm water if necessary to make the gel more fluid and easier to shake. Remove loose horn from the hoof and apply the gel generously for 5 to 6 days. If desired, fill the resulting cavities for a few days with a wad of cotton or teased hemp rope soaked in this gel. Wash hands with soap after application.
