BR Single Broken D-bit Combo Comfort 18 mm Ø 70 mm

This single-jointed D-bit features a plastic mouthpiece with a metal core and stainless steel rings. Thanks to the combination of flexible plastic and high-quality stainless steel, the bits are stable yet particularly soft and gentle. The plastic has a hardness of 90A and is FDA approved. This means the material is free of solvents, contains no plasticizers, and is non-toxic. The bits can be used for all horses and are especially suitable for young horses, horses with sensitive mouths, and horses that have difficulty accepting other materials. The bit applies gentle pressure on the mouth. The mouthpiece is 18 mm thick, and the bit rings have a diameter of 70 mm.

A D-bit has D-rings that cannot rotate freely, which makes the aids more direct. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece lies relatively firmly in the mouth. Due to the D-shape, the rider cannot pull the bit through the horse’s mouth, keeping the horse well controllable, making the bit also suitable for young horses.
