This leather auxiliary rein (19 mm) with long rubber sections gives the horse more freedom of movement, as the rein stretches when the horse moves. The fastenings are widely adjustable and equipped with buckle closures. The snap hooks attach to the bit rings. The auxiliary rein features stainless steel fittings. The purpose of the auxiliary rein is to work towards a lower, horizontal, or higher frame and is used to teach the horse to yield and thus find balance in the lateral bending of its body. The auxiliary rein can be used during riding and lunging.
