The new rubber bits from Waldhausen are made of high-quality polyurethane. Make sure to use a rubber bit only for horses that produce a lot of saliva. Rubber is a soft material and is subject to natural wear in the horse's mouth. Wear can increase if the bit is fastened too high in the horse's mouth, and horses may chew the bit with their back teeth. Therefore, ensure the bit is properly fitted.
